Mrs Phyllis Corinda Goff Payne, age 46 of Tallahassee, formerly of Chipley, passed away March 13, 1999 in the Tallahassee Memorial Regional Medical Center in Tallahassee.  She was a native of Washington County, a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church and was employed at Denny's Restaurant in Tallahassee.  She was the daughter of the late Lorraine Roulhac Goff Yarbrough and Willie Richard Goff.

A memorial service was held Sunday, March 21, in the Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with her pastor, the Rev Price Wilson, and the Rev J W Tisdale officiating.  Memorialization was by cremation with Cooper Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include her sons Travis Yarbrough of Tallahassee and Andrea Lamont Payne of St Louis, Missouri; sister Joyce Goff Wales of Chipley; niece Rayshell R Goff of Range, New Jersey; nephew Farrel L Goff of the Bahamas; grandnieces and nephews; aunts Josephine Roulhac Robinson (Albert) of Chipley and Maxine Roulhac Cole of Miami, Florida; uncle Orlando Roulhac (Jessie) of Pine Bluff, Arkansas and many other relatives and friends.
