Holmes County, Florida

The county seat of Holmes County is Bonifay and is centrally located within Holmes County.  Bonifay is about 1 hour north of Panama City Beach and 1/2 hour south of Dothan, AL.  Its two major roads are US Hwy 90 and FL State Road 79.  The following communities are within an hour's drive from Bonifay:  Reynolds Hill, Westville, Caryville, Alford, Cottondale, Grand Ridge, Greenwood, Malone, Marianna, DeFuniak Springs, Ponce de Leon, Chipley and Sneads, as well as Geneva and Hartford, AL.
