Published in Holmes County Advertiser, Bonifay, Florida, Friday, July 9, 1915 Prominent Farmer Passes Away. W. J. Coatney, a prominent and successful farmer of the county, residing a few miles south of Esto, passed away yesterday (Thursday) at his home after an illness of some weeks of typhoid fever. Several other members of Mr. Coatney's family were victim of the same disease, but it is understood they have recovered. Mr. Coatney is said to have been worth several thousand dollars.
