Mrs Swettie Granger Niles, age 97 of Bonifay, passed away Sunday, Oct 22, 1998 at her residence in Bonifay.

	She was a native of Sneads, and most of her life was spent in Holmes County.  She was a member of Mt Zion Baptist Church in Bonifay, the Missionary Society and the Christian Band of Benevolence Lodge #9.

	Funeral services were held Oct 31 at Mt Zion Baptist Church in Bonifay with the Rev Henry Taylor, R E Hudson, the Rev Andrews Davis, the Rev Charles Flowers and the Rev Carl Jackson officiating.  Burial followed in the Bonifay Cemetery with Cooper Funeral Home directing.

	Survivors include children:  Edna Mae Jackson and William Niles; daughter-in-law:  Coretha Niles; friends:  Willie Bell Harris and Sister Bessie Wilkerson; 11 grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and a great-great granddaughter; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
