Mr William Abraham Collins, Sr, age 65 of Bonifay, passed away on Wednesday, Feb 24, 1999 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Alabama.

Funeral services were held on Feb 26 at Carmel Assembly of God Church with the Rev Tommy Moore and the Rev Tracy Hobbs officiating.  Burial followed in the Carmel Assembly of God Church Cemetery with Peel Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include his wife Hazel Winfred Mims Collins of Bonifay; mother Minnie Lee Collins of Hartford, Alabama; daughters Kathy Sanders, Marsha Ard and Chris Johnson, all of Bonifay; son William A Collins, Jr, of Caryville; brothers Winson Collins of Bonifay and Whit Collins of Midland City, Alabama; sisters Eunice Hobbs of Black, Alabama, Hazel Lewis and Connie Lowery, both of Bonifay; and seven grandchildren.
