Mrs Lena V Blackburn, age 85, passed away Thursday, Feb 25, 1999 in DeFuniak Springs.  Mrs Blackburn originally came from Ohio and had been a resident of Bonifay for the past eight months after moving there from DeFuniak Springs.  She was a Protestant by faith.

Funeral services were held Feb 27 at Clary-Godwin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev Glen Spence officiating.  Graveside services were held on March 2 at Green Lawn Cemetery in Columbus, Ohio with Clary-Godwin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother Grover Cleveland Nestor and Georgianna Norman; and her husband Millard Blackburn.

Survivors include son James Blackburn and wife Harriet of Columbus, Ohio; daughters Elinor A White and husband Virgil of Tampa, Florida and Nancy Kellum and husband Willie of Bonifay; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
