Mrs Lela Mae Baggett, age 86, of Graceville, died Tuesday, Jan 19, 1999 in Gastonia, North Carolina following an extended illness.  She was borne in Graceville on April 2, 1912 where she resided all of her life.  She was a homemaker and a member of Galilee United Methodist Church.

	Funeral services were held on Jan 22 at Galilee United Methodist Church with the rev Robert Hall officiating.  Burial followed in the church cemetery with James and Lipford Funeral Home of Graceville directing.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law: Jimmy and Terry Baggett of Brooksville, Florida, Pat and Diane Baggett of Bagalusa, Louisiana, Jackie and Carol Baggett of Bonifay; daughters and sons-in-law: Cathy and Lamar Creel of Gastonia, North Carolina, Dot and Gene Kornegay of Plymouth, Michigan; brothers: Lloyd Barfield, all of Graceville; sisters: Eva Rown, Edith Adams and Thelma Greer, all of Graceville; 20 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
